The pandemic also taught me how to work remotely effectively. Each team operates like a small startup—the stakes are high, which fosters a competitive environment.

  In most companies, you can find that one skilled engineer who drives the product, does all the work, and is seen as the master of all. At CA, I found that all my coworkers were this type—everyone's skill level was impressive. Though I was going through a difficult time in my life, I gained a clear understanding of how a tech company should be run.
